We are a home that supports a range of needs within elderly care. Four wards, consisting of a hospital ward for ten people, another that support 1/1 complex to respite, another that support mental health issues and the last for frail people.Our workforce is fully trained with many Awards (some unsolicited), reflecting our ability to respond to each new resident’s personal care plan. In house qualified and experienced trainers support the nurses and care managers in all new & updated best practice issues. We are proud of the range of additional qualifications the team have earned over and above minimum requirements. Our hospitality team rivals any hotel in the region, supply over 100 meals three times a day to residents, visitors and staff. Our kitchen supports any and all dietary needs. We have open hours visiting for three of the wards, the hospital operates a protected time during meal times. Although the doors may be locked 2200-0700 visitors are made welcome. We are owner managed (daily on the premises) with two Registered Managers, one as Matron supported by another non-clinical specialist. We ensure that all newcomers can be supported by our skill set.
