Y Bwthyn is a purpose built Care Home that opened in the 1970’s. Over the years it has benefitted from significant upgrading and refurbishment work always striving to maintain a good standard of accommodation and facilities to meet the care needs and expectation of the people living there. The Home is registered to provide care and support for up to 32 people on both a temporary and permanent basis, this includes the provision of 3 respite beds, 13 beds for people diagnosed with a low to moderate dementia and 16 general residential beds. The accommodation is located over two floors. Attached to the Home is Y Bigyn Day Service providing support for up to 12 people diagnosed with a dementia. This facility predominantly supports people living in the community, many of whom are also known to the Care Home through accessing the service for respite care. The Management and Staff Team at Y Bwthyn are committed to providing a high standard of care and support in a safe and comfortable homely environment. Supporting lifestyle choices with dignity and respect is paramount to the team in order to assist Residents to achieve their personal outcomes.
