Llys Y Bryn Residential Care Home is purpose built, situated within the Bryn/ Llwynhendy community of Llanelli. It is located in a residential area with a sheltered housing complex (Ty’r Gelli) and a day service facility (Llys Y Bryn and Crossroads Day Services) attached. The original Home was built in the late 1980’s and benefited from a programme of upgrading and redevelopment works with an extension added in 2007. Llys Y Bryn is registered to accommodate 45 people, with facilities divided into 3 main units consisting of 5 wings. Grug, Towy and Merlyn are within one unit accommodating up to 19 Residents. Felyn wing can accommodate up to 14 Residents, both of these units provide long term care and support. Llwyngwern wing accommodates up to 12 Residents with 6 beds being used on a short term residential re-ablement basis. All units provide care and support, meet individual needs and strive to support personal aspirations.
