Llys Fechan is a family owned residential home situated in the village of Cross Hands. The home was registered with Care inspectorate Wales (CIW) under the current owners Andrew and Joanna Miles in August 2007, to provide care for 18 residents, male and female over the age of 65 years. The Home purpose built and is situated in an acre of cultivated grounds with plenty of outside seating areas for residents to enjoy which are easily accessible to wheelchair users. Cross Hands provides easy access to local amenities, offering a variety of shops,cafes and cinema within walking distance and excellent transport links by bus or car to Carmarthen,Llanelli,Ammanford Llandeilo and Swansea. Cross Hands is a very close welsh community where traditional family values remain strong and is evident in the closeness of the community of Llys Fechan where family and friends are encouraged to visit are valued with the Home. There are several Doctor's surgeries and dental practices within the village of Cross Hands and surrounding areas.
