Brynhelyg is set in extensive private grounds in the village of Bynea, four miles from Llanelli town center. It is registered with CIW to accommodate 25 residents with a range of needs from Residential, EMI, Mental health impediments, Audiology and Visual impairments, frail and infirm with support for special medical needs. We provide a service for 12 residential and 13 EMI residents, with 18 single rooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. We provide service predominantly for the elderly but can accommodate residents 18 years or older provided the appropriate risk assessments are satisfactory and the home can meet their needs. The home has access to all professional organizations that support the care/medical needs of our residents. We have an in-house hairdresser, 4 activity coordinators and an experienced podiatrist. Brynhelyg is a well established, very person centered care home with an experienced Manager supported by the Deputy Manager and fully qualified care staff that have worked in this home for many years. Brynhelyg's staff are all Dementia trained and experienced, we have in-house Dementia Champions. We have two chef's, all the food is home cooked and special requirements are met.
