Garnant House is a 21 bed residential care home situated in the village of Garnant on the main bus routes, and only three miles from Ammanford and seven miles from Pontardawe. As well as residential beds we also offer EMI placements. We are delighted to say that we have been voted a top 20 care home in Wales through the website www.carehome.co.uk for three years in a row from 2016-2018. Prospective residents and their families are welcome to view our Home at any time, no appointment is necessary. We are proud to say that most of our carers speak fluent Welsh. Garnant House is a member of Care Forum Wales Our food is freshly prepared at Garnant House on a daily basis.  Residents have a choice at meal times, we cater for all likes and needs. Regular trips are organised, for example, to the Botanic Gardens, we use our own mini bus when required. We have numerous internal daily and weekly activities such as visits from the hairdresser, chiropodist and complimentary therapist.  We also have many entertainers visit the Home including sing alongs, animal visits and various reminiscing events. We enjoy celebrating residents birthdays and special events such as our annual Care Home Open Day and Christmas fair.
