Langton Hall is a twenty-four-bed residential care home for the older person, with the suitability to accommodate other client groups. It is situated in Dwrbach and easily reached on the main A40 trunk road just 2.5 miles from Fishguard and 13 miles from Haverfordwest. The hourly local bus service passes the bottom of the drive to Langton Hall. Our aim is to remember that residents are individuals with the right to determine how they live their lives. We have single and double rooms available in Langton Hall, and encourage people to bring small items of furniture, pictures, paintings and personal items to make it feel like home. Staff will knock before they enter a bedroom, respecting privacy and helping to retain independence. Many residents will have similar backgrounds and interests, which will be encouraged. Furthermore, the home arranges activities, outings and events for those who like to take part. All staff receive training appropriate to their job role, and many have years of experience in caring for older persons. They know the importance of true care and concern, and will endeavour to meet individual needs, whilst helping individuals to retain control. The quality of food is an important issue for everyone. Our Chef provides a choice of home cooked nutritious dishes with a regular change of menu, which is discussed with residents. We can cater for a wide variety of tastes, and special diets. Our home is for living in. Whatever disabilities a person might have, we will endeavour to make the most of every opportunity to live life to the full. Our commitment is for life.
