Llandaff House is a twenty-one bed purpose built Residential Home in Llangennech, Carmarthenshire. We are registered for nineteen Dementia and two Residential placements. Our bedrooms are single occupancy with all having washing facilities and eight have an en-suite. All rooms are fully furnished. All of our Residents are able to bring their own furniture, pictures and personal items into Llandaff House to personalise their room. There are three main lounges, a dining room and a conservatory. Outside there is a sheltered courtyard and seating. Our Chef has an extensive knowledge of supporting older people with various nutritional needs and all Residents diets are looked at on an individual basis. All meals are freshly cooked daily. Our Activities Co-ordinator completes a monthly plan of all of the activities and events in the home and is displayed for all of the Residents, relatives and friends to have access to. We offer a wide variety of activities either in a group setting or on a one to one basis including reminiscence groups, which is especially rewarding for Residents with Dementia, art, cooking, gentle exercise groups, Llandaff House Choir, spa days, Reflexology, visiting entertainers, hairdresser, a weekly visit from the local Nursery and much more. Our Care Plans are reviewed on a monthly basis with family or friends being invited to a monthly Care Plan open day run by our Deputy Manager where everyone can review the Care Plans and agree any changes. All staff are fully trained to a high standard. You will always have a warm welcome at Llandaff House.
