Ridgeway is a well established home of character comprising the main house which retains many of its original features; and two further purpose built extensions. It is set in its own extensive private grounds and situated in a rural setting 10 miles east of Haverfordwest. It is conveniently positioned for access to the M4 motorway and within easy reach of Carmarthen and Swansea. Ridgeway was first opened as a care home in 1983 to enable older people from the locality and outside to receive appropriate care in a communal setting and where traditional family values are encouraged. Ridgeway is owned by Mufulira Limited, trading as Ridgeway Nursing Home. It is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) under the terms of the Care Standards Act 2000 to accommodate 47 persons. The only types of care that can be provided and the maximum number of places are: • Persons aged sixty five (65) and above, requiring nursing or personal care(up to 47 places) • Three (3) persons aged fifty (50) and above who require nursing or personal care Anyone under the age of 65 years, or with needs that fall outside our registration categories however, will be considered on an individual basis and only by special consideration from CIW to temporarily vary registration.
