Ty Mair is deeply committed to providing a high quality personal and caring service. Our aim is to create a safe and caring environment where residents can feel confident that the care they receive will help enable them to enjoy their lives fully. We are located in the quiet residential area of Felinfoel, on the outskirts of Llanelli town. There is a bus stop directly outside the home and we are close to M4 links. Prince Phillip Hospital is in close proximity to the home and there are also two local schools and a Co-Op nearby. We can provide 24 hour care by qualified nursing staff, senior care staff, suitably trained care staff and ancillary staff. Care will be provided for people who have been assessed as requiring nursing, dementia or residential care due to being unable to manage their own care needs in their home environment. We have a dedicated area of the home, known as "Ty Steffan" whereby we are able to provide high levels of care and support for those living with dementia. We have a high staff/resident ratio and all staff are specifically trained in dementia care. We feel a vital part of providing for our residents is ensuring that their social care and well being is also catered for. As such, we have a dedicated activities worker, who sets up daily activities for our residents, which include trips out in our privately owned mini bus and also arranging live entertainment. We also have our own resident dog, Lenny, who is much loved by all our residents.
